This is my final edit of the photo. I've come back a few times to edit this post because it didn't look quite right... Below is the original, before I tweaked it. I think it gave it a more mysterious or serious atmosphere; the original looks bland and disproportionate. But that's just me.
I need to start writing again!

It's a great edit. I've never done this to an image, darkened it down to create a mood. You also created focal points, now with the tree out of the way our eye is drawn to the lamp and the numbers.
I really like how the lamp looks illuminated almost now
